ASSIST Volunteer Award Project

ASSIST Volunteer Award Project

The ASSIST Volunteer Award Projects’ goal is to encourage the continuation of volunteering and contributing to the community, alongside with the ASSIST Community Services Centre’s mission “to enhance the lives of individuals and families through quality programs and services”. Through a variety of programs and events, ASSIST Volunteer Award Project assist volunteers to explore and challenge their interests, skills and abilities, commitments and responsibilities, as well as experience what it means to contribute to the community voluntarily.

The ASSIST Volunteer Award Project has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level has its own challenges to be completed, such as the amount of volunteer hours, the number of trainings, participation in programs and events. Once each level has been completed, a corresponding pin/medal, certificate of completion, and a report detailing the accomplishments will be awarded. A maximum of ten applications for each level is accepted each year. Criteria’s for each level are as listed below. For more information and registration, please visit the ASSIST Community Services Centre’s website (www.assistcsc.org) or contact our Volunteer Coordinator: Joanna Liu by phone at 780-429-3111 ext. 317 or via e-mail ( This email address is being protected from spambots.
