ASSIST Community Services Centre is an accredited non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping newcomers and diverse communities build successful lives in Canada.

We provide settlement services and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) for newcomers and refugees. We also offer a wide range of programs for the broader community, including English language classes at various levels for adults and youth, financial literacy education, parenting education and support, youth development program, outreach services for seniors, mental health navigation, children's and youth summer camps, and volunteer opportunities.

Our Settlement and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) services are available to newcomers and refugees who have arrived in Canada within the past five years. We also offer a variety of programs and services for the broader community, where anyone is welcomed, including English language classes, parenting support, youth and senior programs, and volunteer opportunities.

Eligibility requirements vary by program. Please visit the webpage for the program you are interested in or contact us if you are unsure whether you qualify. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

You can register by completing an online inquiry form, calling one of our offices, or visiting us in person. Our staff will help determine your eligibility, answer your questions, and connect you with the appropriate program or service.

Yes. Our multilingual team can provide services or interpretation in your language whenever possible. If we do not have a staff member who speaks your language, we will do our best to arrange interpretation or connect you with appropriate language support.

Most of our services including language classes and community services are provided free of charge to eligible clients through government and community funding. Some specialized programs or activities may have a small fee, which will be clearly indicated before registration.

Yes. Most ASSIST services are available in person or online, depending on the program.

We encourage you to contact the appropriate office to book an appointment before visiting. Due to the high demand for our services, we may not be able to accommodate drop-in clients. Booking an appointment helps us ensure that the right staff member is available to assist you promptly. You can also drop in at our SW office 820 Saddleback Rd to pick up a registration form if you are interested in English Language classes
